- beef cheeks2–3 lbs
- olive oil3 tbsp
- onion1 large
- garlic4 cloves
- carrot2 medium
- red wine1 cup
- beef broth3 cups
STEPS
- Season the cheeks with salt and pepper.
- Sear on all sides until browned.
- Soften the onion, carrot and garlic.
- Add wine and broth, braise 3 hours.
